B2B MARKETING MANAGER

We are looking for a superstar strategic B2B marketer with experience developing and executing marketing plans targeting employers and health plans. The B2B Marketing Manager will work cross-functionally and collaboratively to build a marketing infrastructure to power sales, client success, and product management for TheEXProgram, a digital-first tobacco cessation program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the mission of Truth Initiative and helping people quit smoking.

Truth Initiative is an award-winning nonprofit organization dedicated to making tobacco use a thing of the past. The EX Program was designed for employers and health plans in collaboration with Mayo Clinic. WHO YOU ARE:

You are excited about owning all-things-Marketing at first, and eventually growing the team in a model that you've seen work elsewhere. THE DAY-TO-DAY STUFF: 

  • Lead the B2B and recruitment marketing strategy for Truth Initiative's EX Program, including the brand identity, positioning, and messaging;
  • Manage the marketing backlog and lead the prioritization and execution of all marketing activities in collaboration with outside vendors, contractors, and internal teams;
  • Oversee and source (as needed) the work of outside creative and interactive vendors and contractors;
  • Develop and manage campaigns to generate and nurture B2B leads via product marketing, earned-media and thought-leadership initiatives;
  • Develop and manage all sales and marketing materials, including the B2B website (www.theexprogram.com), in collaboration with sales team and based on market intelligence and customer feedback; and,
  • Capture and report progress against agreed-upon marketing KPI's such as website traffic, total marketing leads, lead scores, lead conversion, qualified sales leads passed to sales, social media activity, and paid media analytics; recommend optimizations as necessary to ensure goals are met.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of B2B marketing experience, with an emphasis on content development, campaign management, and digital marketing. Agency experience preferred. Strong knowledge of the employee benefits and wellness market is necessary. Highly proficient at writing and editing creative copy and long-form content. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. High attention to detail and a good eye for aesthetics and design. Ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects concurrently. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and work well with others. Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a distributed team, and to embrace communication technology for both scheduled meetings and ad-hoc discussion. Experience with Salesforce.com, Photoshop/Illustrator, MailChimp, CSS/HTML and similar software is critical to success.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The person chosen for this position must be able to work remotely.
