JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Specialist, Digital Marketing is a member of truth's Marketing Department, a 20-member team which directs all marketing initiatives for the organization's highly awarded and evolving national youth brand, truth. This individual will collaborate across disciplines and departments such as brand, research, grassroots, legal and partnerships. The ideal candidate will be a driven leader, enthusiastic collaborator and an assertive problem solver reporting directly to the Project Manager, Digital Marketing.  

This highly motivated candidate will be responsible for assisting in the strategic development and implementation of digital brand content initiatives ensuring a smooth workflow across departments. This individual will drive brand content strategies with an eye to youth culture while overseeing and inspiring external. Digital Brand initiatives include but are not limited to overseeing creative assets for online video, custom content and social media.

As someone who gets the big picture, you are proactive and always ahead of the game, ensuring that all content requirements are well-defined and aligned with brand engagement and one-to-one relationship marketing. You have a solid knowledge of content and media delivery lifecycles and you possess an understanding of paid media, social media, organic and paid website traffic and more.

THE DAY-TO-DAY STUFF:

  • Manage the creation and development of digital brand initiatives, implement and monitor digital advertising production, media planning and placement

  • Evaluate and manage custom content opportunities

  • Interpret research, analyze the feasibility of new digital marketing ventures, conduct competitive scans and gain in-depth knowledge of target and marketplace conditions

  • Provide guidance on new digital brand initiatives with a constantly evolving youth target

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments including Communications/ PR, Legal and Research

  • Collaborate with advertising agencies on a day-to-day basis providing direction and feedback on digital strategy, positioning, messaging and creative

  • Maintain and oversee the 24/7, multi-year content marketing calendar for tactical and strategic campaigns

  • Leverage a creative vision in a changing marketing landscape, digital platforms and methods of one-to-one and mass communication strategies and tactics

  • Leverage analytic insights to drive conversations, and optimize content deliverables based on short-term and long-term trends

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 3-5 years of experience in marketing, content production and management

  • Passion for all things digital

  • Must be strategic, organized and inspirational leader

  • Comfortable working directly with senior management

  • Self-directed and capable of working in a fast-paced environment

  • The ability to work independently and efficiently on concurrent projects and with internal staff and outside partners/vendors is a requirement

  • Advertising/Communications agency experience is desired

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:

Salary is commensurate with experience with an excellent benefits package offered.
